Topic.

  • Homelessness and Poverty.
  • Many think of homelessness as people just living out on the streets, but its a lifestyle for some.
  • Its been an issue for years on end and we need to do something about it.

Background information.

  • The reason I chose this topic is because of a life changing experience I had in high school.
  • Some say we all have the resources to help every single homeless person out there with food and shelter and we should do something about it.
  • On the opposite end, people say we should do something about the issue on poverty and displacement in the communities and slum-ridden neighborhoods.

Get Involved.

  • Soup kitchens, food pantries, donations, and charities.
  • Some shelters ask for a small donation, please be generous enough to help these starving individuals for a couple meals.

Conclusion

  • Homelessness started becoming an outbreak around the world after World War II, nearly 40-50 million people were without a home because of the heavy bombing. With help, Europe is now thriving.
  • With our resources and kind hearts we can do something about this epidemic.
